UNCHILD Makes a Striking Impression with Unconventional Promotions, from Exhibition-Style Performance to Street Campaigns

UNCHILD has made a powerful impact with a uniquely creative debut project.

UNCHILD (Park Ye-eun, Hiki, Tina, Ako, Yvonne, and Na Haeun) held an exhibition-style performance titled We Are UNCHILD – UNSCHOOL on April 18 in Sangam.

Inside a one-of-a-kind classroom set up in the middle of a public park, the members appeared to exist among people while remaining detached from the outside world, spending time together in their own distinct way. By blocking communication with the outside and reacting only to one another, they created a self-contained world—visually expressing UNCHILD’s identity and message.

Following the performance, UNCHILD personally greeted citizens and fans who visited the site, taking time to connect with them up close. A special “listening zone” was also set up on-site, allowing visitors to preview the group’s debut title track, drawing significant attention.

At the same time, a street promotion featuring UNCHILD’s signature frog symbol took place. Starting in Sangam and expanding to areas such as Hongdae, Yeouido, and Seongsu, the campaign featured participants carrying signs that read, “Have you heard of UNCHILD?” as they moved through crowds delivering the message. The unexpected scenes in everyday settings sparked curiosity and captured public attention.

This promotion extended UNCHILD’s identity rooted in the prefix “UN-,” emphasizing freedom from conventional structures and methods while delivering the group’s unique energy through an unconventional approach. With a debut project unlike anything seen before, anticipation is building for how UNCHILD will officially mark their beginning.

UNCHILD’s debut single We Are UNCHILD, which declares their arrival as bold “rule-breakers” challenging the ordinary, will be released on April 21 at 6 PM KST via major online music platforms.
