STAYC’s Yoon is set to showcase a new side of herself through her latest acting project.

On July 1, High Up Entertainment announced, “Yoon has been cast as the lead character, Yeon, in Love, Death, an original short-form drama from the short drama platform Lezhin Snack.”

Based on the webtoon of the same name by author Lee Eon, Love, Death is a mystery fantasy drama that follows three friends who decide to die together, only to encounter a mysterious being known as “Death,” who offers them an unexpected bargain.

Yoon takes on the role of Yeon, a girl obsessed with death. After she and her closest friends, Irim and Inhee, fail in their attempt to end their lives, Yeon finds herself caught in a whirlwind of complicated emotions. Although she longs for death, her quirky and endearing personality remains, and Yoon is expected to bring the character to life with her signature vibrant energy.

Following her appearances as intern Shim Ja-yoon in the The Office Workers and its second season, Yoon is expected to further expand her acting range through Love, Death, demonstrating a new level of versatility as an actress.

Yoon’s group, STAYC, recently concluded promotions for the title track “2 L0VE” from their sixth single album 2:LOVE. The group will continue meeting global fans through their 2026 fan concert tour STAY CLOSER, beginning with performances in Seoul on August 22 and 23 before visiting seven cities, including Manila, Macau, Taipei, Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney.

Meanwhile, Love, Death, starring Yoon, will premiere exclusively on Lezhin Snack on July 30, with all episodes released simultaneously.
