STAYC (Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Sieun, Yoon, J) proved their position as a global trend.

On May 30 (local time), Grammy.Com published a long article titled, “The rising Korean artists you need to know now: STAYC, ENHYPEN, ITZY, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ATEEZ.”

Grammy.Com posted the music video of their second single STAYDOM, the title song ‘ASAP’ released in April, praising it as “a new six-member girl group with tremendous potential.”

In particular, Grammy.com said, “STAYC debuted in November 2020 at Hi-Up Entertainment. They represents a small agency, but they are leading the album sales of new K-POP girl group.” Grammy.Com also mentioned STAYC’s cover clips of BTS, BLACKPINK and TWICE released before their debut.

Grammy.Com said “STAYC’s debut song ‘SO BAD’ reached 2.6 million views in the first 24 hours. They sold more than 50,000 copies through their second single ‘STAYDOM’ released in April, the first record among new girl groups to debut in 2020.”

STAYC is considered the fourth generation girl group leader and continues to rise on the music charts. Although the official activities of the second single ‘STAYDOM’ have finished, but the title track ‘ASAP’ is still showing popularity, ranking 11th on the Melon 24Hits chart.

Thanks to this, STAYC ranked fifth in the idol group brand reputation rankings recently announced by the Brand Reputation Index after BTS, Brave Girls, Black Pink and Oh My Girl in May 2021.
