STAYC Publishes Self-Planned Children’s Book Dreaming Sweetland, Stepping into the Role of Creators Beyond Idols

STAYC is releasing a children’s book created for young readers and fans alike.
On the 24th, STAYC (Sumin, Sieun, ISA, Seeun, Yoon, and J) announced the release of their new children’s book series titled Dreaming Sweetland.
Dreaming Sweetland is a three-part fantasy series centered around themes of dreams and growth. Each volume features imaginative stories tailored to children, paired with whimsical illustrations that spark young readers’ creativity.
This project marks STAYC’s first foray into original content creation, with the members directly involved in the planning process. It’s a meaningful step that highlights their evolution from idol group to storytellers for the next generation.
The book also introduces a character named “WEESEE,” a sleep fairy inspired by their fandom “SWITH.” Through this character, STAYC naturally expands the shared identity between the group and their fans into a world that resonates with children.
The stories in Dreaming Sweetland aim to deliver a heartfelt message about “the courage to stay true to yourself,” offering encouragement and inspiration to both fans and young readers.
Pre-orders will begin on the 24th through bookstores nationwide, both online and offline. As part of the release event, purchasers will receive printed copies with members’ autographs, photo cards, and a set of five postcards when buying all three volumes.
High Up Entertainment stated, “Dreaming Sweetland is STAYC’s first original project as artists, sincerely crafted for fans and children. We plan to continue sharing warm, meaningful messages through various creative avenues.”
Meanwhile, STAYC recently wrapped up promotions for “BEBE,” the title track from their fifth single album S, and successfully held their solo concert STAY TUNED at Olympic Park in Seoul. They are now set to embark on a global world tour.
