K-pop group STAYC brought unexpected laughs with a surprise appearance on KBS 2TV’s Gag Concert.
STAYC (Sumin, Sieun, ISA, Seeun, Yoon, J) made a special guest appearance on the July 27th broadcast of Gag Concert.
The members appeared in the popular skit “Simgok Police Station.” In the skit, “ghost” Seo Seong-gyeong said, “Actually, I’m debuting as a singer. Since the ‘Afterlife Boys’ are trending these days, I’m planning to debut as an ‘Afterlife Idol.’ So I brought some friends with me,” and called on STAYC to join.
As STAYC entered the stage, the audience immediately lit up. The members greeted everyone with bright smiles and showed off their stunning visuals, then mimicked Seo Seong-gyeong’s signature laugh, drawing big laughs from the crowd.
STAYC’s playful ghost impressions had the audience in stitches. Sieun jokingly added, “We have a new song out, and they say it’s good luck to see a ghost, so we came to ‘Simgok Police Station,’” perfectly imitating the skit’s tone.
STAYC then performed part of their new single “I WANT IT,” revealing a completely different charm from their earlier playful antics. Their unexpected transformation captivated fans.
To wrap up their appearance, STAYC joked that their next schedule was at the “Ghost Bank,” making everyone laugh once more. They exited the stage while striking ghost poses, staying in character until the very end.
Meanwhile, STAYC recently made their comeback with the special single “I WANT IT,” which delivers the message “Even imperfection can be my strength,” along with the group’s own cool and hot summer vibe. Their unforgettable hook and choreography bring refreshing energy to listeners this season.
STAYC plans to continue connecting with global fans throughout the summer via music shows and various content.
