STAYC Drops Comeback Teasers on Their Way to World Tour — Special Single ‘I WANT IT’ Out on the 23rd

2025 07 03

STAYC is sending clear signals of their comeback, even from the airport.

On July 2, STAYC (Sumin, Sieun, ISA, Seeun, Yoon, and J) announced via their official social media that they will release a special single, I WANT IT, on July 23. This marks their first new release in about four months since their single S in March and sets the stage for an action-packed second half of their global promotions.

The teaser began right at the airport. On the day they departed for Australia for the next leg of their STAY TUNED world tour, all the members and staff wore outfits emblazoned with the phrase “I WANT IT.” Some members even sported sunglasses with playful texts like “Comeback Loading” and “New Song Out,” cleverly hinting at their return in a bold, witty way.

Their confident statement and perfectly styled airport looks fueled even greater anticipation among fans. Online communities lit up with enthusiastic reactions such as, “Only STAYC would drop a comeback spoiler like this — iconic!” “STAYC in summer is unbeatable,” and “I’ve been waiting for my personal summer queens.”

The group then followed up on July 2 by posting selfies in their departure outfits on official social media, officially confirming the comeback. The photos were accompanied by the special single title I WANT IT and the release date of July 23, locking in STAYC’s summer return.

Their global schedule for the second half of the year is also taking shape. Following successful stops in Seoul, Osaka, Tokyo, and Jakarta for their second world tour STAY TUNED, STAYC will continue on to Melbourne on the 5th, Brisbane on the 8th, Auckland on the 11th, Bangkok on the 19th, Hong Kong on August 9, Singapore on the 16th, and Taipei on the 23rd. Starting in October, they’ll head to North America with shows planned in Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, and Toronto.

With I WANT IT, STAYC is once again setting their sights on summer listeners. Teasing both style and substance, their bold comeback signals are already drawing the world’s attention. Teaser content related to I WANT IT will be unveiled sequentially in the coming weeks.
